Countdown to Summer

Only thirty three more days left in the school year, and for many of us, it will be our last year. As the year winds down, there are many upcoming events students need to be aware of. The day of prom, April 25th, there is a teacher incentive day giving everyone the entire day to get ready. On May 7th, seniors will receive their cap and gowns, so seniors, make sure you have already paid for them. Also, on May 14th, there is the Senior Incentive Day. To qualify for that day off, students must have no tardies, three or less excused absences, no write ups, and at least an 85% average each quarter in all their classes. May 15th and 16th are senior final days so make sure to study up. To be exempt from finals, students can have no unexcused absences, two or less absences for that period (or three with no tardies), and an 85% average in the class for each quarter. The last day for seniors is May 16th but the rest of the school does not get out until May 22nd and May 27th for teachers. School’s almost out so, students, gear up!
