If you love the comical stylings of Eva Longoria, then you should catch her performance in Over Her Dead Body. This romantic comedy is about a psychic woman pretending to see a man’s dead fiancé. Throughout the lying the psychic woman falls in love with the man and the dead fiancé haunts the psychic. In the hopes to save their TV show, Strange Wilderness, six friends embark on an adventure to find Big Foot. This movie could be the next Superbad when it comes to the teenage persuasion. Strange Wilderness will definitely be one of those stupid movies that you can’t do anything but laugh at. I will be going to see this movie in the hopes to go into a laughing coma, hope to see you there.

February 8th
Fool’s Gold
PG-13 Starring
Matthew McConaughey, Kate Hudson, Donald Sutherland, and Ewen Bremner.
This movie is the triple threat. It’s a romantic, an action, and comedy all in one. Some may say it is a Romancetionedy. Ok no one says that, but this movie looks worth the $7.25. Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey bring a sense of hope and adventure to the big screen in their pursuit of treasure hunting. If you want to be in the spirit of innocence for at least two hours then be sure to see Fool’s Gold.

The Hottie and the Nottie
PG-13 Starring
Paris Hilton, Joel David Moore, Christine Lakin, and Johann Urb.
In case anyone forgot what Paris Hilton did on her off time from clubbing and going to parties, the new film The Hottie and the Nottie is a perfect example of her attempting to act. The title of this movie pretty much sums up the whole 97 minutes. When the main character, Nate Copper, gets a second chance at dating his childhood crush his chances are slim because she won’t date until her ugly best friend gets a date. The preview for this movie brings a little sense of curiosity to the average person. Who knows maybe Paris will get nominated for an Oscar? Maybe this movie will be rejected by the entire human race. Whatever your decision is I am sure that Paris needs a new purse, so go check out The Hottie and the Nottie.

Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins
PG-13 Starring
Martin Lawrence, Louis C.K., James Earl Jones, and Cedric the Entertainer.
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to go back home after nine years? Well, Roscoe Jenkins returns home with his new fiancé and remembers exactly why he left. If you’re in the mood for a home cookin’ comedy, then stroll on down the big city and get ready for some laughs.

In Bruges
R Starring
Colin Farrell, Brendan Gleeson, Ralph Fiennes, and Clemence Poesy.
Even though this movie is rated R,, I will personally be seeing the Colin Farrell flick with a person of 21 years of age or older. I have seen the previews for this movie and am extremely excited to see it. In Bruges is about a hit man that is stuck in Bruges a.k.a. Belgium to await orders from his boss. Mean while, he is stuck trying to blend in and be a tourist in a city that bores him to death. So for all you seventeen year olds or 15+ with connections with a 21 year old make sure you experience the action comedy that is In Bruges.

February 14th
Definitely, Maybe
PG-13 Starring
Ryan Reynolds, Isla Fisher, Derek Luke, and Abigail Breslin.
For any of you light hearted romantics looking for a good Valentine’s Day movie look no further. Definitely, Maybe is an adorable movie about a father daughter duo that is just trying to find what is missing in their lives. After an overview of how the two parents fell in love, the father and daughter team discover that the missing element is young Mya’s (the daughter) mother. To find out how this sweet story ends watch Definitely, Maybe coming out on Valentine’s Day.

Jumper
PG-13 Starring
Hayden Christensen, Teresa Palmer, Samuel L. Jackson, Rachel Bilson and Jamie Bell.
Whether you’re looking for a date movie for Valentine’s Day or just a good movie to check out, this is that movie. Jumper will take you into a world where the idea of teleporting will become a reality for one man, and that there are always consequences. I highly doubt that this movie will disappoint any of its viewers. This movie is absolutely a must see for February. I am for sure going to see this movie and I hope you will too.

The Spiderwick Chronicles
PG Starring
Freddie Highmore, Sarah Bolger, David Strathairn, Mary-Louise Parker, more cast
Even though we’re in High School, I think The Spiderwick Chronicles is the perfect movie to venture back to when life as a kid was much simpler. This movie is about a family moving into their uncles house and the kids discovering a whole other fantasy world. So take a step out of bounds and journey to the mystical world of The Spiderwick Chronicles.

Step Up 2: In the Streets
PG-13 Starring
Briana Evigan, Robert Hoffman, Telisha Shaw, and Adam G. Sevani.
Whoever enjoyed Step Up the original knows that Step Up 2 can never be the same, but that’s not the position of this movie. As sequels go this one is looking like it will be a great dance movie. This Step Up looks a little funnier than the first movie. We now find the story is about Tyler Gage’s little sister Andie and how she has grown up and now joined the Maryland School of The Arts. She goes through different events, but dancing remains her passion. This movie is full of comedy, dancing and a good time
