February 1st
Van Halen
Pepsi Center

If you love 1970s California based rockers, then jump on down to the Pepsi Center. Between the group’s 11 albums, this show is bound to be full of great music. Eddie, Alex, Wolfgang Van Halen and David Lee Roth will all be there; I hope you will too!

Are you looking for some fresh new music? Well you have found it! This concert will be full of good tunes you can rock out to. The eight dollar deal is really worth it to go watch these marvelous groups. If you’re unsure check out their songs on Youtube. You’ll be happy that you did.





The Fray
Bluebird Theater- 16+ 10$ at Box Office

The Fray has made it made it back to their roots by returning to Denver for three nights. There will be no opening act. The Fray will perform promptly at 8:00. This year wristbands will be distributed to the ticket holders to stop the scalping phenomenon. The Bluebird is craking down on ticket resale, so be sure to get your ticket early.

For all of the concerts to miss because of my age I have to miss this one. Even though I won’t be able to listen to the incredible music of these three groups all you 16+ should fork over the $20 and get ready for an amazing show. The foreign take on music from these bands will be refreshing for its Colorado viewers. The English Editors, the Canadian Hot Hot Heat and the Californian Louis XIV will be playing as hard and there musical bodies can take it.




February 2nd
The Fray

The Brotherhood of Dae Han
Aggie- All Ages $8 Box Office

This local band is from Ft. Collins, and before they become rich and famous be sure to see them live at the Aggie. There music is of the rock or metal persuasion. If this type of music isn’t what you are used to take a step out of your comfort zone and give The Brotherhood of Dae Han a chance.




February 3rd
The Fray

February 5th
Cobra Starship, Metro Station, We the Kings, The Cab
Marquis Theater- 16+ 10$ Ticketmaster

Do not be distracted by these bands “emo” looks they actually have songs that make you feel like you’ve found music again. All four of these bands stay true to the classic guitar, drums, and vocals combination which creates four excellent music creators. If you’re too young don’t be down they’ll have more concerts next year just not all together.




February 6th
The Audition, Envy on the Coast, Danger Radio, Another Day Late
Marquis Theater- All Ages $10 Ticketweb

These four bands will bring variety to Colorado for one night. It is a big mix of rock, metal, punk, and folk all mixed in a one awesome night of POW! Even though these bands don’t make the top 100 or have their latest video on MTV that doesn’t mean they aren’t worthy enough to be listened to. Small bands need loving too!




February 7th
Bayside, Straylight Run, Four Year Strong, The Status
Aggie Theater- All Ages $13 Ticketweb

Do you feel like listening to music that relates to real life anger and betrayal? Or just songs that make sense to the wondering mind of a high schooler, well you’re in for a treat! These bands are just what the doctor ordered when it comes to the broken heart. The bands will provide a sense of understanding when it comes to failed relationships. Go to the Aggie and just let the music heal your broken mind.


DJ Shadow N Cut Chemist
Ogden Theater- 16+ $32.50 Ticketmaster

This show is rated correctly because it isn’t for the kiddies, The turntable stylings of DJ Shadow and Cut Chemist is for older ears only. This music is the kind that you will be able to get your grove on to. Take a break from the rock scene and try something new.




February 8th
Emery, Mayday Parade, As Cities Burn, Pierce the Veil, Cry the Afflicted

Looking for some hope for February 14? These emo romantics will be just the thing to get you in the mood for Valentines Day! All the bands songs are focused on love and the art of romancing. If this doesn’t seem like the perfect date concert then you must be single. Either way this concert will be one not to be missed.




February 9th
The Toasters, Fear Nuttin Band
The Falcon-16+ $14 Gothic Box Office

The veteran group The Toasters is teaming up with Fear Nuttin Band to mix up the Denver flavor. If you’re in the mood for some boom diggidy tunes then look no further. The masters of reggae and rap are coming to town. Take a step out of bounds and head down to the Falcon for some crazy entertainment.


Jonas Brothers
Wells Fargo Theater- All Ages Prices May Vary

Feel like visiting teenybopper world? All you need for one night is the Jonas Brothers experience. They’ll be playing hits such as S.O.S., The Year 3000, The Kids of the Future, and several more. It will be hard to sustain your self from screaming for Nick, Kevin or Joe, but try to listen to the music while you are at it. The New Jersey band will only be in Colorado for the 8th, so be sure you get your tickets ASAP!




February 12th
James Blunt

He’s beautiful! You’ll see! Got nothing to do on this Tuesday? Now you do, James Blunt will be rocking the house with his hits You’re Beautiful, One of the Brightest Stars and much more. You don’t want to miss this chance to see the hunky British singer in person.




February 13th

The 1980s pop metal group is coming to town. They will be at the Ogden playing there hits such as Heaven's Trail (No Way Out), Love Song and The Way It Is. Be sure to get tickets soon, who knows the band might break up again.




February 14th
The English Beat, RX Bandits

If you aren’t planning to get your grove on at Snoball don’t stay home, go to the Gothic Theater and prepare your ears for these four astounding bands. Even though the Gothic Theater isn’t as convenient as our Auditorium doesn’t mean you should miss out on this chance to see the Flobots.
